A pair of early chairs made by s and l in the 1940's sautto and liberale was founded in naples … Read more A pair of early chairs made by s and l in the 1940's sautto and liberale was founded in naples in the 1930's and became known as the leader of bentwood furniture in italy. The design of the chair dates back to 1900's. They are still in their original condition, with the original caning and without any sign of insect damage. They still have the original label from the era. S and l no. 10 they have a lovely patina and the caning is still in an excellent unrestored condition. Lightweight with rigid joints. This piece has an attribution mark,
