An exceptional and highly sought-after “Made to Measure” modular cabinet designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, Utrecht, in the early 1960s.
This striking composition spans an impressive 366 cm in width, 242 cm in height, and 45 cm in depth, making it one of the largest and most architectural models from Braakman’s celebrated series. The piece features warm teak veneer cabinetry contrasted by black and light-grey panels, elegantly elevated on slim black metal legs.
A perfect example of Dutch modernist design, it reflects Braakman’s talent for combining functional modularity with refined simplicity. The cabinet offers both open and closed storage, creating a rhythmic and balanced façade that suits a collector’s living room, office, or creative space.
The entire system is fully demountable, allowing for easy transport and installation.
It remains in excellent vintage condition, showing only minor traces of age consistent with gentle use. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
