Alois Scheurich co-founded "Scheurich und Greulich" (S&G) in 1927, a company specializing in ceramics and glassware, which quickly made a name for itself in the industry thanks to its dedication to craftsmanship and innovation. In 1954, he established his own ceramics factory in Kleinheubach, where he began producing unique pieces, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design, thus attracting an ever-growing clientele.

The Scheurich Keramik company established itself as one of the largest ceramic producers in West Germany between the 1950s and 1980s, becoming famous not only for the quality of its products, but also for its commitment to creating designs that meet the changing needs and tastes of society, while remaining accessible to all.
