This piece is a superb example of Italian craftsmanship, estimated to date back to the Antique period (early 1900s or mid-20th century).

Subject and Style: Rustic/Alpine (Folk Art) design. The spinning wheel is a vertical model, complete with a large spoked wheel, a pedal mechanism (not visible in the photo, but the connecting rod is present), and the upper part with the spinning reel (discard).

Material and Finish: Made entirely of solid wood (probably walnut or beech), turned and hand-crafted. It features a beautiful glossy walnut finish, which highlights the grain.
