Jean Baulin (1927–2007) — “Heliade”, limited edition print, 1960s
Beautiful black and white engraving (probably wood or linoleum), signed in pencil lower right and titled Heliade. Stylized composition: elongated figure and graphic flourishes, nervous lines and strong contrasts that energize the scene (a reference to the Heliades of Greek mythology).
Limited edition print, artist's proof, unnumbered, simple frame (black frame, cream mat) ready to hang.
