(albissola ceramics factory) factory, signed by the painter forani, as per the label and inscriptions on the back. A superb 20th-century vintage piece.

subject and style: design in the "white and blue" style (blue monochrome), typical of the great tradition of albissola and savona. The entire interior is painted with a detailed landscape depicting a watermill, a bridge, a village, and a female figure in the foreground. Material and finish: made of high-quality majolica (glazed ceramic), entirely hand-painted using the "white and blue" technique (cobalt monochrome on white glaze). The finish is glossy and brilliant. Back: the back of the plate bears the inscription "laca albissola hand-painted" and the original paper label from the manufacturer "l.a.c.a. Fabbrica ceramiche albissola pezzo unico dipinto a mano pittore forani". It features the classic two holes for wall hanging. Ideal for collectors of albissola ceramics, lovers of "blue and white" landscape majolica, or as a focal piece for a wall.
