Maison lecan presents a pair of glazed ceramic coffee tables produced by roche bobois, france, circa 1970.
at that time, roche bobois collaborated closely with small french workshops and artisans, particularly in the south of france, to produce limited-edition pieces that blended craftsmanship and modernist design.
the tops are made of glazed tiles in shades of ochre, red, and brown, punctuated with geometric patterns characteristic of the decorative production of these workshops.
the frames are made of original square-section black lacquered metal.
a balanced and warm pair, perfect as side tables or coffee tables, evoking the sunny mediterranean spirit of 1970s french design.
