Created as part of a limited edition, these chairs were later also chosen for the Czechoslovak Pavilion restaurant at Expo 1970 in Osaka.

Model No. 615 represents the peak of Czech post-Bauhaus craftsmanship—graceful curves of bent beech wood forming a fluid, continuous silhouette that unites modernist geometry with organic lightness. The design was awarded “Best Furniture Design” at Expo 1967, reflecting the international recognition of TON’s innovative bentwood techniques.

The pair remains in very good original condition, with newly renewed geometric-pattern upholstery that complements the warm patina of the beech frames.
