A Superbly Carved Green Man Oak Side Board or Buffet The buffet is similar to a court cupboard and has … Read more A Superbly Carved Green Man Oak Side Board or Buffet The buffet is similar to a court cupboard and has a counter top with a carved edge beneath a higher plate shelf, there are two drawers set into this which have heavily carved fronts each one with the face of the Green man The top section is set on barley twist supports over a shelved 2 door cupboard, the cupboard doors also have carvings of the Green Man and on the outer edges there are more faces This is a handsome cupboard, the quality of the carving is absolutely superb and it is in good condition with a good patina The Buffet would work very well in a dining room it certainly has that stand alone presence and would look superb in an entrance hall.
