Exquisite pair of 19th-century Sèvres bisque porcelain and gilt bronze candelabra, each depicting two children supporting cornucopias adorned with flowers.
Listed as Model No. 239 in the Royal Sèvres manufactory catalogue (plate 6), this design was originally created around 1758, inspired by the Rococo compositions of François Boucher and Étienne-Maurice Falconet.

The pure white bisque contrasts elegantly with the warm gilt bronze mounts, symbolising the refined aesthetic of Louis XV’s court.
Similar examples were known to have been owned by Empress Eugénie, who passionately collected 18th-century works.
Each piece bears the Sèvres impressed mark and the old retailer’s paper label “Ruevel à Paris.”
A rare and sophisticated example of French neoclassical elegance, combining sculpture, porcelain art, and decorative refinement.
