The text refers to a registered agricultural product from the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture and notes “500g × 40 入” – forty packages of 500 grams. The producer’s name is printed along the bottom: a nice blend of graphic design and everyday trade history in one object.

Afmetingen: hoogte 41 cm, breedte 26 cm, diepte 33 cm.

The crate is made from light-coloured wood with visible grain and a warm, natural tone. The red Japanese characters create a strong graphic, decorative effect.

In a contemporary interior this is a very versatile piece.
