These steps are securely fixed and reinforced underneath with brackets, and have rounded corners at the back.

This portable stepladder, which serves as a ladder to reach the highest shelves of a library, folds on knotted iron hinges at the top. When open, it is held on both sides by substantial iron hooks for excellent stability. The piece is also reinforced with iron plates on each side.

Its design makes this sturdy stepladder easy to store and versatile, as it can also be used as a decorative piece in your home.
