The bowl has a deep, rounded shape and a warm, timeworn patina that beautifully reveals the craftsmanship and many years of use.

Dimensions: height 11 cm, diameter 45.5 cm.

The bowl shows characterful traces of use and repair, including traditional crack repairs with metal staples – authentic details that enhance its wabi-sabi presence. Inside, the carving structure of the wood is still clearly visible, in rich, nutty brown tones.

Originally made as a robust kitchen tool, this large kibachi now also works as a striking decorative object. Use it as an eye-catching fruit bowl or centrepiece, or style it with small objects, magazines or books.
