Beautiful Japanese vase with a porcelain body, finished with a warm chestnut/kaki tenmoku-style glaze.
Dimensions: height 18 cm, diameter 17 cm.
On the front there is a large circular relief medallion with a stylised pattern, framed by small impressed motifs. The shape is round and compact with a narrow neck, perfect for a single branch or a simple ikebana arrangement. The vase comes in its original wooden tomobako with inscription and seal, confirming the origin.
In excellent condition. Lovely as a stand-alone object, but also among other Japanese ceramics or as a subtle wabi-sabi interior accent.
