Made in Italy between the 1960s and 1970s by La San Marco—as confirmed by the engraving on each piece and, most notably, by the original period packaging in which the spoons are still stored—this vintage flatware set is crafted in silver-plated steel and features faux bamboo handles. The design playfully draws inspiration from the Chinese Chippendale style, reinterpreting the classic bamboo motif—so iconic in Oriental decorative arts—through the refined use of silver-plated metal. This set of twelve tea or coffee spoons appears to have never been used; they show only minimal signs of oxidation consistent with age. Perfect for setting a sophisticated breakfast table or for creating a more eclectic dining experience by mixing patterns, linens, and glassware, this set beautifully balances elegance and whimsy, making it ideal for both formal and informal occasions.
