After a careful cleaning with a specialized product, the surface reveals a refined and intense chiaroscuro effect, without concealing its age or history. The red velvet insert inside suggests that it was likely designed as a jewelry box—although, of course, you are free to use it to hold whatever you wish, whether objectively precious or simply meaningful to you. Produced in the mid-20th century, this piece was found and acquired by us together with another model, also shell-shaped, which you can see in the photos. In good vintage condition, it would make a perfect Christmas gift. See less
