In the 1980s, Niels Gammelgaard designed minimalist furniture for IKEA, featuring metal reinforcements. The pieces convey a sense of lightness and emphasize the connection between the materials. This shelf is a classic and can be beautifully decorated with plants, ceramics, books, etc.
The shelf dates from the 1980s. The four shelves clearly show signs of use (scratches and paint wear), some more than others. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
