Visage de Femme is a modern artwork realized by Ignace Joseph de Claussin in the early 19th century. Original etching portraying the face of an old woman. Collection: Dikeos. Dimensions: cm 15, 8 x 13,2. In good condition. Ignace Joseph de Claussin, also called Ignace Joseph chevalier de Claussin (Lunéville,1795 - Paris, 1844), was a French engraver and print dealer. He is especially remembered for having written a reference work on Rembrandt's engravings, that is Catalogue raisonné de toutes les estampes qui forment l'œuvre de Rembrandt (published in 1824). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
