Scamander model floor lamp designed by Ugo La Pietra for Luce Piana. The structure is made of silver-colored painted metal, while the large Murano glass lampshade stands out for its sculptural shape and hot-applied decorations in shades of pink and blue. A highly expressive object, in which art and design blend into a poetic and experimental language, typical of La Pietra’s production in the 1980s. In excellent vintage condition, with slight signs of use consistent with age. Review of the electrical system prior to use is recommended.
