Kold christensen production "pk-22" by poul kjærholm in original woven wicker with an amazing deep golden patina. The frame is made from matt-plated steel. This example was made in the 1960s and is marked by maker. It has only had one owner. Collectors item. The "pk-22" was designed in 1956 and is one of poul kjærholms most iconic designs. It is a simple yet sophisticated construction combining two edges of bent steel connected beneath the seat by curved steel struts and covered with layers of canvas, leather or wicker. The iconic chair won the grand prize at the milan triennale in 1957 and exemplifies poul kjærholm’s vision and quest for the ideal form and dimension. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
