Traditionally crafted in the stud construction, coffered on the sides, two-door with centre pilaster strip and 2 drawers under the slightly protruding top panel. The rounded fluted corner pilaster strips and multi-curved moulded plinth frame ending in volute feet. Doors made in frame construction hung on external iron fittings with panels in the shape of a double arch. The drawers are fitted with dovetail joints.
There is a shelf inside.
When the right-hand door is open, the left-hand door can be opened and locked from the inside using a hand-forged iron sliding bolt.
Original iron fittings complete the piece of furniture.

An authentic example of French provincial furniture production from the end of the 18th century. Exceptionally solid quality, completely crafted in hardwood, with attractive original patina.

Good condition with age-related signs of use including old woodworm channels (not active!) and minor repairs.

The sideboard cannot be dismantled for transport. Only the doors and drawers can be removed. See less
