Etching on laid paper realized by Fernand Desmoulin in the 1890s after the painter Théodule Ribot. Not signed, as issued. Image dimension: 14x11 cm. The print shows an elderly woman, solemnly reading or examining family documents, which she holds in her hands under dim light. The figure is rendered in deep chiaroscuro, with dramatic contrasts of light and shadow — a hallmark of Ribot’s painting style, which was strongly influenced by Spanish Baroque masters like Francisco de Zurbarán. Printed by A- Clément, Pris. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
