The large rectangular intaglios feature Jesus with the crucifix with the German inscription. Each gilded Florentine frame featuring heavily scrolled foliate and acanthus detail the central framed with a stepped and beaded leaf border all cased in ebonised & glazed frame with crimson red and dark purple velvet ground. The gilding is original and they are certain to make a charming addition to that one special room in your home. Condition: In really excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
