It's finished with an old-fashioned, off-white paint. A storage unit ideal for an entryway or bedroom, we love its authentic look, a blend of bohemian and industrial styles… and the small handwritten inscription hidden inside, a mysterious testament to a life well-lived!

The wardrobe is antique and dates from the 1940s. In a locker-style format, it's narrow and has two paneled doors. The pale gray-white paint is original and has a beautiful patina. The wardrobe is made of fir and has metal ventilation panels in its back. This Parisian-style wardrobe closes with a keyless latch, allowing for the attachment of a padlock. Sturdy and well-made, the wardrobe is functional. It has shelves on one side, and a hanging rail can be installed on the other. Some shelves are made of several wooden slats. The wood has been treated and maintained. Some imperfections are present, notably one visible on the bottom of the right-hand door. The piece is old and has seen heavy use; the paint is chipped in places. It has a particularly aged patina. Inside, an old inscription provides information about a previous owner: “Sanctam Spontaneam Deo et Patriae liberationem. Agatha ira pro nobia,” a common epigraph in bell-founding workshops.
