A charming pair of small bud vases dating from the early 20th century, around 1900.
The bases are made of patinated spelter, each depicting a dog and a cat holding a horn to accommodate the glass tube.
The glass containers are made of blown, yellow-tinted glass with a white enamel floral motif and scalloped rims.
These lovely decorative objects are typical of the Belle Époque period and are perfect for showcasing a single fresh flower, a miniature antique rose, a sprig of lily of the valley, or a delicate dried stem.
Their small size makes them very decorative—ideal for a console table, bookcase, pedestal table, or bedside table.
