Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949, the Round Chair entered the legend in 1960, appearing in the first television comparison between John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon, during the race for the presidency of the United States of America. It is on that occasion that the Americans call it The Chair. What characterizes the chair is its round wooden backrest that creates a unique body with the armrests. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
