This high quality ceramic art jug-vase was created most likely around 1940 by a German, yet undefined ceramic artist.
The impressive sculptural vessel is glazed in various hues of blue and features a ring-shaped decor. It is shows modernist influences as well as rustic elements of rural folk art, which make it very interesting.
It is stamped on the underside with the workshop logo, an abstracted angel. The vase comes from a private ceramic art collection.
