This piece is stamped and numbered 9/1000, part of a limited series. Mansau, celebrated for his revolutionary sculptural perfume bottles for houses such as Dior and Kenzo, applied the same artistic vision to this lighting design. The piece is made entirely of polished brass, molded into an abstract and dynamic form with flowing curves and sharp folds that interact with the light. The high-gloss finish gives the material a warm, reflective quality. This work functions both as a table sculpture and a lamp, in keeping with Mansau's broader career.
