The luxury piece features a lid with a beautiful and richly detailed relief decor with cherubs. The interior of the box is made from cedar wood. It has the embossed mark with a 'Lion on E' on its underside.

The Erhard & Sons silver and metalware factory was founded by Carl Gottlieb Erhard in 1843 in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany and was specialized in manufacturing fine, mainly gold-plated and richly detailed fashionable accessories, which were exported worldwide.
