Although unmarked, they are … Read more A large pair of 1970s Italian standard lamps of impressive proportions - each nearly 6.ft tall. Although unmarked, they are very nicely made using solid square section brass and chrome plated steel.
The standard lamps come with a very attractive pair of bamboo shades with lovely brass edging detail. They are in as new condition, and likely to be a later addition, however their size and scale perfectly fit the proportions of these very large standard lamps, which leads me to believe they were bespoke made for the lights.
The chrome is bright, and the brass has developed a wonderful aged patina. Completely rewired with new E27 brass bulb holders and retaining their original foot switches.
