This high-quality glazed ceramic art vase was created by the renown German ceramist Eva Kumpmann (1920-2017) during the 1950s who's work was influenced by the Bauhaus movement.
The impressive mid-century modern ceramic object is glazed on the inside in a bright matte beige-grey tone and on its outside in hues of black and brown.
Eva Kumpmann was born in Düsseldorf and founded her own studio in Göttingen in 1944. Her work is influenced by modernism and the Bauhaus movement as well as ancient rustic or rural folk art, which makes it very interesting. This piece has an attribution mark,
