Magnificent and rare art deco modernist desk. Design by p.e.l. Izeren for de genneper molen. Striking dutch design from the 1920s. Solid oak and original oak veneer base with integrated open bookcase. Original macassar ebony knobs on both doors and drawers. The writing section has been reupholstered with faux leather. This wonderful art deco modernist desk by p.e.l. Izeren for de genneper molen is in very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. A simular desk in dark stained oak is in the collection of the centraal museum in utrecht. A real eye-catcher in your home or office. this piece has an attribution mark,
