Glazed in green and orange uranium glaze respectively. Classic form with rounded body, pronounced spout, and handle. Dating: Circa 1930s. Dimensions: Height approx. 9.5–10 cm, diameter (including handle) approx. 14.5–15 cm. Condition: Green pitcher with a small chip to the spout; orange pitcher in excellent condition with minimal signs of use. Kähler ceramics was founded in 1839 in Næstved by potter Herman J. Kähler. The company became known for its experimental glazes, especially in the early 20th century, when many artists collaborated with the factory. Uranium glazes, which produced intense green and orange colors, were used in the first half of the 20th century but were later discontinued for safety reasons. See less
