A fine set of glass plates.
By Steuben.
In clear glass.
Pattern No. 7644.
Each plate slightly recessed plate and with a thick foot.
This set dates to the 1940s. Each marked to the underside with an etched "S" indicative of the period.
Together with the original divided box and dust jackets.
Perfect as underplates or slightly oversized bread plates.
Simply a wonderful Steuben design!

Overall Condition:
They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
Three of the plates have a very small flakes to the rim and one plate has a few small flea bites to the underside of the rim.
Most of the plates have some noticeable but minor scratches or utensil marks to the center of the plates.
There is some peeling to the paper on the box as well as some tape marks to the outside. The box shows signs of wear especially to the corners and top of the lid. The hinge has come apart on the lid of the box, and the ribbons have frayed.
Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
