Beautiful Turkish Sivas carpet with ivory field and pink accents.
8'3'' x 11'4''
Antique Turkish rugs from Sivas are largely copies of traditional Persian designs with elegant and formal small-scale repeating patterns, or medallions set over monochromatic Due to the strategic position of the villages and the city of Sivas, prominent export firms from Great Britain, Italy and European countries established outlets in the area. These merchants hired small home-based workshops to create carpets based on traditional Persian designs.
