A dramatic and beautifully hand-painted 1970s triptych featuring a vivid sunset landscape rendered in warm gradients of orange, ochre, and espresso. Each panel flows into the next with silhouetted trees, a glowing sun, and sweeping hills that create a continuous horizon line when displayed together.
This is not a print or mass-produced decorator piece. It is a fully hand-painted studio work from the late 1970s, signed by the artist (“Carlon,” lower left). Visible brush strokes, raised paint texture, and paint carried over the canvas edges confirm its authenticity. The backs of the canvases show period stretcher bars, hand-applied staples, and a studio inventory number — all consistent with independent 1970s workshop production.
The palette is classic late-70s atmospheric color: rich sunset tones, golden light, and deep earth hues that bring warmth to any room. It carries that beloved 1970s bohemian sensibility — earthy color, nature-inspired forms, and a relaxed, sun-drenched mood that designers lean into when creating cozy, collected interiors.
These panels look exceptional over a sofa, in an entryway, or as the focal point above a long sideboard.
A unique piece of vintage wall art with presence and scale — beautifully preserved and ready to hang.

The canvases are original and show the expected light tonal aging on the reverse. Edges have minor scattered paint rubs and slight wear as seen in photos— typical for large-format vintage studio pieces. The stretcher bars are sturdy and the canvases remain tightly stretched. No tears, holes, warping, or loose areas. Overall, it presents beautifully and is fully ready to hang. less
