The Chulucanas style of pottery has a long history as it dates back some 2000 years. The product continues to be made in the northern Peruvian town of Chulucanas where it originated.
The main components of Chulucanas pottery are clay, sand, mango leaves, and climate.
Each pieces is signed and dated by the artist. The Wave vase was signed in 2000.
This vase is approxiamtely 9" diameter by 12" high with a 3.5" mouth.
