Stunning vintage mid-century modern Swedish art glass bowl designed by Goran Warff for Kosta Boda, c. 1970s. Göran Wärff was a legendary artist and designer of Swedish glass in the mid-20th century and Kosta Boda is one of the world's leading brands in glass and glass art. This bowl is very heavy and features vibrant lilacs, pinks, greens, orange, green, and cobalt blue. There is also lovely texture to bottom of the bowl with linear relief design. A true iconic work of art and fabulous addition to any mid-century modern or art glass collection.
Bowl is signed: "Kosta 57205 Warff" to underside.
Dimensions: 8 1/4" Dia. x 5 1/8"H
Base: 4 1/4" Dia.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Wear consistent with age. Minor scratching to inside of bowl and underside of base. Please see photos.
