A beautiful and ornate Barbizon gilt frame fitted as a mirror. Allow this piece to bring a refined sense of 19th Century French elegance to your home. The frame has been re gilt and has a beautiful presence. It is almost certainly a 19th century work. This is a frame that speaks for itself.

Please note that while the frame is of French design, it may have been constructed in England, or even. less likely, America. We have not been able to fully examine the back/construction due to the paper covering of the verso. The dating is accurate.
