Saul Lishinsky (NY 1922-2012). A lifelong NY artist Saul Lishinsky was encouraged to paint by his cousin, the well known WPA painter Abraham Lishinsky. Lishinsky attended the Arts Students League in NY and studied under Hans Hoffman in Provincetown during the summers of 1946-1948.
This work is charcoal and conte crayon on paper and is signed. It is nicely framed, under glass, in a contemporary Spanish baroque style frame. It is a very interesting and engaging work.
