A bold and sculptural piece of Polish Art Glass from the 1970s, designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz for Huta Tarnowiec.
This vessel takes the form of a monumental tankard, reimagined as a decorative object. The cylindrical body is defined by prominent horizontal rings (ribbing) at the top and bottom, giving it a strong, architectural presence typical of the Memphis Group aesthetics.
Crafted from heavy, opaline pink glass (selenium pink), it features a large, applied clear glass handle. At 7.5 inches tall, it is substantial enough to be used as a unique vase for short-stemmed flowers, a sophisticated desk organizer, or simply as a striking display piece.
