Hand-carved circa 1870, the exterior features rectangles of ebonized wood, although the lid adheres to the crossbow front form, with subtle barbs. Inside the borders of black are thinner rectangles of honey-colored wood that surround large veneers of a gorgeous, smoky marble. The lockable lid is adorned with a pierced cartouche of brass that is filled with the same warm wood as seen on the rest of the box. Beneath the lid are four trays, each with 12 slots for cigars, above a pull-out drawer that can be used to store papers, punches, matches, and other tobacco accessories. Our French cigar humidor would make a wonderful accessory for an office, bar area, or sitting room. See less
