This stool is a small, low, handmade wooden and painted piece with a simple rustic construction. The legs and frame are crafted of solid wood painted in off-white showing the aging patina. The black covered rectangular seat is believed to be leather or leatherette affixed with primitive nails and has one-inch padded depth. The base of the legs have a hand-carved cutout offering time-worn, utilitarian charm.
This stool would fit into various decor styles of Rustic Farmhouse, Shabby Chic, Primitive Americana or Cottagecore. The piece is not made for sitting, but would be perfect as a stand alone, or to place a pile of small books or tea cup.
