Set of three vintage Brazilian folk-modernist paintings depicting Lampião and the cangaço figures, widely celebrated as folk heroes and cultural icons of Northeast Brazil. Each panel is signed VT and painted in acrylic on canvas with bold saturated color fields, simplified silhouettes, and strong geometric outlines.
These works show authentic age characteristics consistent with late 20th century or earlier. The surfaces display loss of sheen from age, and the backs exhibit yellowing of the raw canvas and visible charcoal underdrawings, confirming original hand execution.
