The sculpture captures the look of carved ice, with smooth and raw edges and frozen ice texture. The sculpture is unsigned but attributed to Hivo Van Teal, a Miami artist that applied expertise in acrylics to produce lamps, sculptures, and other products. The Van Teal Company is no longer in business. There is no maker's mark. Chrome and Teak has had the opportunity to sell many Van Teal products. The design, materials, and size of the sculpture are very similiar to other Van Teal products. Existing products have increased substantially in price in recent years. Dimensions: 22" H X 9" W X 5.5" D. The sculpture has slight discoloration to the acrylic. There is some surface wear to the base. See less
