Dimensions: 29" H X 17" W X 2" D framed. The painting and frame are in good condition for their age and use. The painting is signed. Savain (1906-1973/1975) was an influential Haitian artist, widely considered a founding father of Haitian modern art. He was known for his distinctive style and vibrant use of color in depicting everyday life. The painting depicts abundant Haitian jungles, as well as giraffes, animals not found in Haiti. See less
