A stunning matched pair of vintage Chinese cloisonné vases, dating to the mid-20th century, executed in exceptionally fine revival wire enamel technique.
Each vase features deeply detailed hand-laid copper wirework, richly colored enamels, and a striking black ground decorated with flowering branches, delicate birds, and layered lotus-inspired scroll panels. The upper and lower borders are densely patterned with traditional scrolling motifs over a shimmering gilt-tone enamel field.
These vases display the level of workmanship associated with high-quality Chinese cloisonné revival production, where traditional imperial-style patterns were recreated using hand-applied wire and multiple kiln firings. The interiors are finished in translucent cobalt blue enamel, and the rims and bases retain their original warm brass tone.
A highly decorative and impressive display pair, ideal for collectors of Asian decorative arts or refined interior styling.
This is a matching pair with excellent visual balance – ideal for flanking a console, entrance, or large cabinet.
A strong decorative pair suitable for both classic and modern interiors.
