Cast in luminous parian, a type of bisque porcelain developed to emulate carved marble, the sculpture depicts a young woman bracing herself against the wind, her garments swept dramatically around her figure. The effect captures both movement and mood, giving the piece a dynamic sculptural presence.

Standing 18.5 inches high and measuring 6.25 inches wide by 6.25 inches deep, the figure is beautifully modeled with finely rendered drapery and expressive detail.
