A beautifully crafted French Provincial ladder-back settee, attributed to Fremarc based on its distinctive carving style, frame construction, and high-quality handwoven rush seat. Fremarc is known for its artisan-made furniture produced in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and this piece reflects the same level of craftsmanship, detailing, and solid hardwood build.
The frame features graceful cabriole legs, scalloped ladder-back rails, and floral hand-carved accents—all finished in a classic satin black. The double-panel rush seat is in excellent condition and includes a custom gingham cushion that adds a warm, cottage-French touch.
While the original maker’s mark is no longer present, the carving patterns, silhouette, joinery, and construction quality strongly support the Fremarc attribution.
