This beautiful hand-painted hat pin holder features delicate purple violets, soft green foliage, and a serene blue-green ground. The top is gilded and pierced with 8 holes for displaying hatpins. Artist-signed E.S. Albee and marked PL Limoges France for La Porcelaine Limousine, a respected early 20th-century Limoges porcelain manufacturer.
Made around the first decade of the 1900's, this piece reflects the refined artistry and romantic floral style that made Limoges porcelain so beloved.
In gently used condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. A lovely functional collectible for hatpin collectors, Limoges fans, or lovers of antique hand-painted porcelain.
